	Welcome to the Person Rockets Fastpitch Website ! The 2004 season his began and it has been a long time coming for this dad. I will be posting pictures when available. I will be out for the Northern Vance game and if anyone wants to take pictures and give them to me to post I will be happy to do so. I hope that you will enjoy my website as much as I enjoy watching our Lady Rockets play. There will be photos from the games as well as other information posted to the site during the season so please check the site on a regular basis. I would like to say a special thanks to Tim Chandler and The Courier-Times for the article contribution and superb coverage of all the Person Rocket Athletics.


	Thank You!!! Gary, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support of Rocket Softball for the pass four years. Thanks for the GREAT web-site. Not only will the Rockets miss your coverage of the games but, so will the rest of the teams in the PAC-6. 	One Game at a time.... Rockettes defeat Riverside 13-0. Good job Rockettes ! It sure is nice to hear the crack of the bat on the ball. Let's keep it going and take it one game at a time. Good luck against #1 Jordan Tuesday night. You guys and been making amazing comebacks all season, so keep it up during the tournament.

	Rocket Softball Celebrates Senior Day It seems like yesterday we began this journey and now it has come to an end. I am proud of our senior class because of their work ethic and desire to win. You never gave up, even when times were tough you always believed in yourselves and your ability to win. I will miss you all and I want to say thanks for all the great softall that I have been priveledged to be a part of. This is my last year as well so in a way I am graduating myself. I hope that you all have had some pleasure in looking at the pictures because this is for the team and families. I want to apologize because I have had to miss more games this year than all the other years put together. This has been a tough year and I hope in the upcoming year that softball will be fun again for those of you returning to play. For the graduates that will continue to play at the next level I wish you the best of luck and I hope to get a chance to see you play. Best wishes and love to all the Rockettes. Gary

	Rockettes top Northern 4-3 Once again the Rockettes prove that it's not over till the "fat lady sings". The Rockettes were down by three runs and battled back to win in extra innings to take the victory 4-3. This was a team effort and I want to commend everyone for their heart and desire to win. Congratulations Lady Rockettes!

	Rockettes 1 of 3 in Salem Tournament The Lady Rockettes battled hard all day and finished with a 1-3 record losing 2 games by a total margin of 2 runs. They lost the opener 10-11, followed by a 3-0 win and finally a nail biting l2-3 oss in extra innings. Everyone did a great job, but I have to mention Bliss Norville who had lead off home runs in the 1st and 3rd games. Way to hit the ball Bliss! Due to battery problems I was unable to photograph the first game. Fortunately I was able a working battery which provided the pictures for the 2nd and 3rd games.

	Rockettes defeat Riverside 17-0 Person Rockettes say farewell to Kerby Hatmaker before the Riverside game. Wonder if there is any significance between the her jersey number and the final score :) Good luck to Kerby and her family as they move from the area. Thanks for all the hard work and dedication to Person Softball. It was nice to get back and take some pictures and watch some softball. Unfortunately, due to business trips I have had to miss some games and my picture gallery is suffering from it. I am hopefull that I will be able to catch most of the rest of the season. 	Rockets over Web 8-0 Rocket pitchers Matherly and Latta combined for a no hitter in the 5 inning win. The Rockets had a good day with the bats and were able to post 8 runs to coast to the win.

	Rain, Rain, and more Rain! Once again Mother Nature has postponed the Rockets match-up with West Forsyth. The game is now rescheduled for Monday. Game time for the Memorial Day match-up is 4:00pm.

	Rockets are PAC 6 Conference Champions ! The Rockets easily defeat Orange 13-2 today on another great offensive day. The Rockets again were hot with the bats and were never in trouble during this game. This was the last regular season game and I want to personally thank all the seniors that have given so much of their time and effort with this team. You ALL deserve so much credit for making this team what it is today. I would like to dedicate the pictures that have been taken this year to the late Coach Carver. His inspiration was unmeasurable and his ability to uplift the girls in such a postive manner can never be replaced. Jimmy was the conscience of this team and if you looked the word up, you will see it reflects the spirit he brought to the Rockets. The Rockets will be in action on May 21 in the first round of the state playoff's. As soon as I have more details I will post them.

	Rockets defeat Northern 7-3 Person Rockets are in the drivers seat. They are assured a share in the confernce title with Jordan and with a win over Orange on Wednesday the Rockets will be the outright confernce champions. Northern played a great game but the Rockets just had a better day offensively and were able to play with fewer defensive errors which has plagued them recently.
